Timesheet List - Icon Controls

-- the add icon can be used to create a new timesheet.

-- the view icon can be used to view a preview (non-editable) version of a timesheet.

-- the edit icon can be used to modify a timesheet (or create / edit an end user adjustment).  Note that in most instances, double clicking on a row will provide the same behavior as clicking the edit icon. Click to edit a particular timesheet

If your installation has been configured to allow end user adjustments, then clicking on this icon on a LOCKED or EXTRACTED timesheet will allow a Manager to create a timesheet adjustment for a user (via the end user adjustment feature).  Whether a manager can edit or adjust a timesheet can be controlled with the Allow Managers to Edit Timesheets (unatime.manager.edit) property.

You may notice that certain rows will not have an edit icon.  This may be the case if you do not have end user adjustments enabled or if an administrator has shut off end user adjustments for a particular time period.

-- the delete icon can be used to delete a timesheet (or to delete pending adjustments).  In order for the delete icon to be visible, your Unanet system must have the Allow End Users to Delete Timesheets (unatime.allow_timesheet_delete) property set to true and the Enable Timesheet Audit Trail (unatime.audit) property set to false (this functionality is not available if your site must be compliant with the DCAA guidelines). Further, only those timesheets currently in an INUSE, DISAPPROVED or any Pending End User Adjustment status will display the delete icon.   Thus, if you desire to delete a timesheet that is currently in a status of SUBMITTED, you'd need to first edit the timesheet (which would reset the status to INUSE), and then you would have the delete option available.

If this timesheet has a pending end user adjustment then it will show up on the Active timesheet list.  Clicking the delete icon will allow the user to completely remove the pending adjustments (in which case the timesheet may no longer appear on the Active list, but rather the Completed list).

-- the approve icon on this list will indicate that a timesheet must be Reviewed by the timesheet owner.  If your system has been configured with the Require User Review (unatime.user.review.required) property, then you may see the approve icon on this list of active timesheets if someone other than the owner submitted their timesheet.   This icon is non-functional on this screen, simply a reminder to a manager that one of their people has an outstanding Review.
